Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Siwvy seviyan (broken into small pieces)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • Mustard seeds, curry leaves
  • Salt, turmeric, red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp oil or ghee
  • Water to cook

Instructions:

  1. Roast seviyan dry until golden.
  2. In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion, and chili.
  3. Sauté, then add tomato and spices.
  4. Add 1.5 cups water, bring to boil, add seviyan.
  5. Cook till water is absorbed and seviyan is soft. Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
